The WCCL has expanded its reach by organizing inter-district tournaments in five different districts. This expansion allows for the screening and identification of players from various aPart Of Tamilnadu.

This not only promotes para sports but also helps break down barriers and challenges stereo types associated with disabilities.

SCREENING & IDENTIFING

The first step of WCCL begins with identifying skilled PwDs whose disability allows them to play the game. A structured traning programe is organised to equip these individuals, at multiple grass-root levels with networking.

TRAINING EXPERIENCE

The WCCL believes that participating in actual matches and tournaments offers a more effective training method. By being involved in competitive matches, players can gain valuable experience, learn from their performances, and further develop their skills

CAPACITY BUILDING

The WCCL aims to provide year-round training for the top 30 players with the support of various stakeholders. This extended training period allows the selected players to enhance their abilities and take their skills to the next level.

REAL TIME TRAINING CAMP/TOURNAMENT

In the Real-Time Training Camp/Tournament, the APL 26 selects the best 30 players from the participating teams. These selected players undergo year-round training to prepare them for the next level, which includes representing their state.

The APL 26 consists of six teams, and they compete against each other in a league format. Each team will have the opportunity to play against all the other teams during the league stage. Based on their performance in the league matches, the top four teams will advance to the semifinals.

Semifinals are knockout matches, where the winners of each semifinal match will proceed to the final. Final match will determine the ultimate champion of the APL 26.

Overall, the APL 26 creates a platform for players to showcase their skills, undergo intensive training, and compete at a higher level, with the ultimate goal of selecting the best representatives for the state team.
